The Warner Brothers and DC Films news and first looks continue to pour out on this big Tuesday.
On display at the 2016 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas are the costumes and props of the DC Comics super hero film, Wonder Woman, spawning in theaters almost a year after Suicide Squad.
More specifically, Wonder Woman's costume which will go mostly unchanged into 2017's Justice League is on the show floor, alongside the outfit Chris Pine's Steve Trevor character will wear and Queen Hippolyta and General Antiope's costumes. Amazonian headpieces have also made their way to the floor, as have a pair of shields and weapons.
After making her debut in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year, Gal Gadot reprises her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in 2017's Wonder Woman which will be set years prior to the events of her first cinematic appearance. More specifically, Wonder Woman will take place during World War I. Patty Jenkins will direct the script from Jason Fuchs.
Next up for DC Films is Suicide Squad, hitting theaters this August. Justice League, bringing the full team together for the first time, is in principal photography now, and we have an extravaganza of news from it for you right here, including new plot details, costume descriptions, vehicle and set descriptions, and a promise of a sense of hope and fun from the film's stars, director Zack Snyder, and the movie's producers.
Wonder Woman is set for release June 2, 2017. Check out photos of the costumes and props on display in the gallery below!
