It would be hard to imagine that Jared Leto's Joker was derivative of something, but lo and behold that is what Die Antwoord is saying.

Their claims are not just in regards to The Joker, but more about the film's visual stylings overall, and you can definitely see some similarities when you look closely at the two side by side. Still, it doesn't mean that Ayer intentionally "nibbeld" their look for Suicide Squad.

Well, there you have it. Their case is pretty sound, mostly because they used the words wassup and nibbeld, so the criteria may be a bit biased.
