The upcoming multiplayer mode for Final Fantasy XV was originally slated to release this month, but Square Enix recently announced that the Comrades mode has faced another delay. Unfortunately for impatient fans, there are still a few adjustments that need to be made to make it ready for launch - but this just means it will be even more amazing when it finally drops this November.

The multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy XV is something that many FF players are excited for. Another way to immerse yourself within the world of Chocobos and male characters just meant to be in the boy band of your dreams:

"Create your own avatar and join up with three other friends to take on epic quests and battles in the FFXV's first and only online multiplayer expansion.

Set in a world engulfed by darkness, the expansion casts players as a member of the Kingsglaive, with powers and unique abilities invoked from various Lucian kings, who join forces to bring the Light back to the kingdom of Lucis. Other members of Noctis's crew including Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis will be made playable in future game updates."

Square Enix has not set a firm new release date yet for when the new content will drop, but we do know that it will be early November. Though it is a little disappointing for eager players to dive right into the new mode, it is a positive step on the company's part to make sure that it is polished and ready to go from day one. The beta for Comrades saw many errors with matchmaking, as well as a ton of server issues, so this extra care will make sure that the drop day will go as smoothly as possible.
