If you're a collector of all things Hyrule – i.e. The Legend of Zelda – then chances are you've already plunked down a good amount of money for Prima Games' Legend of Zelda chest and box set, which features a number of books that pay tribute to Nintendo's beloved adventure series. But now you'll have to make room on your book shelves for even one more must-have collector's item, as Dark Horse has just introduced a Deluxe Edition that fans won't want to miss out on.

The Deluxe Edition of the Encyclopedia is scheduled to arrive this April from the folks at Dark Horse, and features 320 pages of awesomeness, covering the lexicon of the Legend of Zelda series, including characters and locations. But there's more to it than that – the Encyclopedia actually looks like the original Legend of Zelda NES cartridge.

The book features gold foil paper with a number of different features, making it look like the NES cartridge of old. But what's more, it also comes with a black polypropylene sleeve, which resembles a classic NES cartridge sleeve and fits the book pretty much perfectly. There's also an instruction booklet for some reason, so you can handle it with loving care. (Sorry, there's no battery system included – you'll just have to rely on those passwords!)

The book will cost you a pretty penny, going for around $80. It also won't be here anytime soon, as pre-orders have yet to go live, and it won't arrive until April 24, 2018, according to Kotaku. But that provides you with more than enough time to get your funds in order for when the pre-orders do go live, and you can place this book next to your Legend of Zelda collector's chest and figurines and what have you and make it stand out in your local game room. UPDATE: The pre-order is now live on Amazon.

We'll keep you informed as to when the book will be available for pre-order. For the time being, salivate over the pictures above and wonder about what other special edition encyclopedias Dark Horse could release. You know, a Mario collection would probably hit the spot…
