Marvel's Runaways is set to debut on Hulu this week and one of the show's stars has already gotten an official welcome to the Marvel family from none other than Stan Lee.

James Marsters appeared at Supanova Comic Con in Australia earlier this month where he was welcomed into the Marvel family onstage by Stan Lee in front of a crowd of fans. Marsters was so excited he shared a clip of the moment on his Twitter. You can also check out the moment in the video above.

"I want to welcome you, Jim, to the Marvel family," Lee said to the actor. "I wish you the best of luck. You've got a great show, you've got a great role, I'm going to be jealous as hell. You knock 'em dead, you hear me?"

Being welcomed into the family by the legendary creator of numerous characters within the Marvel Universe was clearly moving for Marsters by the look on his face at the end of the clip. Marsters had previously told the group that he was skipping out on the press duties for Runaways to be there with the show's premiere so close.

Marster's plays Victor Stein on the show, a scientist and father of Chase (Gregg Sulkin,) one of the six teens in the series who band together after discovering that their parents have not only been lying to them, but are evil to boot. The show is based on the fan-favorite comic from Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona, but will have some differences from the series. However, producer Jeph Loeb told ComicBook.com earlier this month that they've worked hard to make sure that the show honors the comics.

"Not only have I worked with Brian [K. Vaughan], I also consider Brian to be a friend," Loeb said. "We invited him to come into the... writer's room, and he was very -- you have to know Brian, he was very polite, and said 'I don't want anyone to feel weird that I'm there.' And I just said, come on, we'll have lunch, we'll just see what happens. And he stayed a month, and I think that really speaks to how welcomed he felt and the stories they were pitching and the stories he was pitching."

Marvel's Runaways premieres November 21 on Hulu.
