Ever since he was a child, Senku’s biggest dream in life has been to build a rocket and head to space. It took him 3700 years to do so, but he is finally able to achieve his dream. However, the mission to go to the Moon wasn’t born out of his desire to fulfill his childhood dream. It’s the only way for humanity to survive and avoid getting petrified. Someone dubbed Why-Man is on the Moon and has access to the Petrification devices. Since the mysterious entity doesn’t answer any questions, the Kingdom of Science has no other option than to confront the villain on the Moon.

They built a massive ship, Perseus, and embarked on a voyage to North America in order to gather resources and find the means to get more manpower. The story has come a long way since the group decided to confront Why-Man. As the finale approaches, humanity finally has a chance at survival and restoring the civilization that has been lost over several millennia. The final cour also introduced Ryusui’s brother, Sai, the most genius mathematician in the world, whose contribution led to the impossible task of building a rocket in a stone world.

Senku and the others initially planned to build a one-way rocket and petrify themselves on the Moon for an indefinite period of time. However, thanks to Chrome’s stubbornness, everyone was onboard the idea of building a two-way rocket, even if the task was going to be several times harder. The Kingdom of Science is too small to build a two-way rocket, which is why they need help from all over the world. It won’t be long before Senku and the others come face-to-face with the enigmatic Why-Man and discover the reason behind humanity’s petrification over 3700 years ago.
