While the rumors are true that Anchorman director Adam McKay was in talks to join Ant-Man following the departure of director Edgar Wright, there’s no particularly exciting story as to why he pulled out of the negotiations, according to McKay’s Twitter account: he’s simply too busy to take on a project with such a short turnaround time.Comparing X-Men and Fantastic Four creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby to the Beatles, McKay didn’t entirely count himself out of Ant-Man, although between the tweet and earlier reports he’d withdrawn it seems unlikely anything will come of it.You can check it out below.
