CBS has released the first clip from Monday’s episode of Supergirl: “Hostile Takeover.”

Cat Grant is embarrassed by a hacker when personal emails of hers are posted for all the world to see, which is reminiscent of what happened to Amy Pascal during the 2014 hack that crippled Sony. Cat is very upset that The Daily Planet has taken advantage of the information contained in the emails to reveal Cat’s real-age and that she was shot down by Idris Elba (Pacific Rim, Luther). Cat tells her lawyers that she’d like to sue any news outlet posting her emails, however, they try to persuade her not to by reasoning that Cat would post Lois Lane’s personal emails if she had the opportunity.

Kara goes toe-to-toe with Astra when her aunt challenges Kara’s beliefs about her mother. Also, Cat is threatened with being removed as the CEO of CatCo after a hacker exposes her private and damaging emails.
