In 2012, Nimoy had a voice cameo on “The Transporter Malfunction” episode of The Big Bang Theory. Nimoy lent his voice to Sheldon’s Mr. Spock action figure.
At the end of Thursday’s episode, instead of the the usual title card for creator Chuck Lorre, the card was replaced with a black-and-white photograph of Nimoy. Underneath the photograph were the words: “The impact you had on our show and on our lives is everlasting.”
