Exclusive BOOM! Preview: Cullen Bunn and Jack T. Cole's The Unsound #1

BOOM! Studios has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of The Unsound #1, due out next month from the publisher.

The Unsound, from New York Times-bestselling writer Cullen Bunn and artist Jack T. Cole, launches on Wednesday, June 7. Today is the final order cutoff for the series' first issue.

"The Unsound is a surreal, scary story, full of chilling encounters and haunting experiences, and it delves deep into the nature of reality, perception and insanity," Bunn explained at the time the series was announced. "It's territory that I find myself drawn to frequently, and in many ways, this is a sister series to The Empty Man. Here, though, we're exploring a new landscape and developing a new horrific mythos."

The Empty Man is another Bunn/BOOM! collaboration, one that's in development at 20th Century Fox as a feature film.
