Now that we’ve seen Batman v Superman on the big screen, how about a schoolyard version? David Mazouz, the actor who plays young Bruce Wayne on Gotham, says he’d love to see a similarly-aged Clark Kent make an appearance on the show.

“I think it’d be really cool to have a young Clark Kent on the show,” Mazouz tells IGN. “To have a 15-year-old Clark Kent. I know in Batman v Superman they played it like Metropolis and Gotham are twin cities, so it wouldn’t be that hard to take a boat ride over for Clark but…”

Even if Gotham can’t get a Clark Kent of its own, Mazouz says he’d be happy to share the one that’s debuting on Supergirl this season, played by Tyler Hoechlin, even if it’s just for an Easter egg.

That’d be amazing. I mean, it might be difficult to work out with the producers and all that kind of stuff, but I would love it. Like I said, as a Batman fan, that would be awesome,” Mazouz says. “Going back to the Superman, you know, Clark Kent as a teenager saves a busload of kids from drowning, right? It would just be really cool to just start a scene in the GCPD and just pan, like start on a newspaper that says, 15-year-old boy in Metropolis saves busload of kids from drowning. And then just pan up and have a regular scene that has nothing to do with the … throw a little hint.”

Thus far, Fox has kept Gotham entirely separate from the DC Television universe of The CW, and used DC Comics characters that were primarily part of the Batman mythos, so the prospect of young Clark Kent showing up on the show seems unlikely. That said, we’ve seen crazier things in superhero television.
