Fans are still on cloud 9 after the DCEU successfully brought Wonder Woman to the big screen, but what about a character who calls Superman family?
That’s the focus of this fan concept art that envisions what Superman’s cousin Supergirl might look like in the DCEU (via BarryAllens/Reddit). The costume is clearly inspired by the design seen in the CW Universe Supergirl series, with a skirt design and dark stockings. It adopts the Man of Steel textures as well as the muted red, blue, and gold color scheme, though the skirt does seem a touch brighter.

Supergirl has had a number of redesigns in the past, but her current television look has gone over well with fans. There are more than a few of them who would like to see that costume left intact if (or when) she makes it to movie screens.

The DCEU continues when Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
