Melissa McCarthy's new comedy, The Boss, opens up this weekend, but box office analysts are predicting Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will have the last laugh.

Last weekend, Batman V Superman easily won the box office for a second straight weekend, but it plunged 69% from its debut numbers. Its expected to experience a softer drop in its third frame, and analysts are predicting it to gross in the $23-$28M range.

Those same analysts are forecasting $20M opening weekend for The Boss; however, don't be surprised if it outperforms that figure as it pulled in $985K at Thursday night previews. "For comparison, Melissa McCarthy's Identity Thief began with $409,000 ($34.5 million opening)," Box Office Mojo reports. "The Heat brought in $1 million ($39.1 million opening), Tammy brought in $1.3 million ($21.5 million opening) and Spy started off with $1.6 million ($29 million opening)."

Meanwhile, the first-person action film Hardcore Henry is also making its debut this weekend, and it is expected to gross $7-$9M.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
