Even villains have to pass the time between life-threatening missions somehow, and while each member of the Suicide Squad probably has their own preferred method of doing so, for Harley Quinn it takes the form of Nintendo and Niantic's Pokemon GO.
In Suicide Squad #1, the team is on a ship waiting to be deployed into the earth's atmosphere towards an underwater Russian facility. While everyone attempts to get prepared, Harley encounters something up in space that gamers of all ages can relate to, a Pokemon that is just waiting to be caught.
After seeing one pop up on her phone, she exclaims "Oooh, There's a Pokecutey up here!"
Hopefully, she managed to catch it in time, because soon after the team goes plunging towards the earth, and it would be hard to imagine her phone maintaining a signal.
As addicted as Harley may be, it's safe to say that we won't see Amanda Waller playing Pokemon GO anytime soon, as the game currently doesn't employ a special "implant bomb in their heads to make them do what you say" function, but word is that the ability will be coming soon, so maybe she'll pick it up then.
Suicide Squad #1 is written by Rob Williams and pencilled by Jim Lee, with Alex Sinclair on coloring duties and Nate Piekos on lettering. Suicide Squad #1 is in stores today, and you can view the image of Harley trying to catch em' all in the gallery.
