iZombie's Rahul Kohli is coming to Supergirl and portraying Lena Luthor's ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer, who's in National City to make a big splash with his new technology -- though it won't turn out so great.
Jack Spheer is a charismatic tech genius who has spent decades working on a medical innovation that will eradicate major illnesses and change the face of the world – if it works. When he enters the series, he comes to National City to present his innovation to the press -- including Kara and Snapper Carr. In the comics, an industrial accident transformed Spheer into the villain known as Biomax, who existed basically as a cloud of chemical smoke able to possess others' bodies.
He'll make his first appearance in the upcoming "Ace Reporter" episode, and now we have the first official images of him as The CW has released fourteen stills from the episode. You can check out those preview images in our gallery below.
Lena's (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack's conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she's inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger.
Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish.
