Recent tweets from the game director of Assassin's Creed Origins confirmed that the side quests will be improved in the latest game and that players can immerse themselves deeper in the combat.

Ashraf Ismail, the game director for Assassin's Creed Origins, has been pretty busy as of late revealing detail after detail about the upcoming Assassin's Creed game. The director has also been extremely active on Twitter where he fields fans' questions about the game that's set in Egypt.

Players who are familiar with past Assassin's Creed games, as well as other games with tons of quest-based incentives, will be familiar with the repetition that's occasionally seen through side quests that task players to kill this, recover that, deliver this to so-and-so for small rewards. But in a response to a question about the side quests, Ismail confirmed that players can expect something different in each quest they accept.

While players are completing those side quests, there's bound to be tons of combat involved like one would expect in any Assassin's Creed game. The HUD is invaluable in the game, but for some players, it detracts from the experience by breaking the immersion of the game. to accommodate those players, Ismail said that they'll have the option to turn off hit points through the options so that there's less clutter on the HUD and more immersion during the intense fights.

Along with the option to customize the HUD, players will also be able to remap the controls to a combat layout that better suits their style. Rumors about Assassin's Creed Origins' button mapping compared it to that of the equally combat-heavy Dark Souls games, but Ismail assured players that they'd be able to change the button configuration before diving into their assassinations.

Assassin's Creed Origins won't be releasing for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC until Oct. 27, so there's still plenty of time for the game's director to reveal more details. And with how active Ismail is through interviews and Twitter, more information is guaranteed to come before the game's upcoming release.
