The Nintendo Switch needs more rhythm games. As much as I love VOEZ, having spent dozens of hours jamming through its countless tunes with dozens more to go, it can't hurt to have a little competition, right? To that end, PM Studios is stepping up and bringing SUPERBEAT: XONiC to the Nintendo Switch this October. Having already played this game on the PS4 I can confirm that it's going to provide another near-endless time sink for rhythm game fans when it comes out, especially since the Switch version is getting some bonus DLC. From the official press release:
"In addition to the included soundtrack of over 65 songs -- from R&B to rock, techno to K-pop -- new tracks will be available via DLC on the release date. And to celebrate the game's debut on Switch, these all-new DLC tracks will be free for Switch users!"

If you already own the game on Xbox One of PS4 don't sweat it; you'll be able to snag those new tracks as well. "Rackin Gravity" will be free for everyone, and the other songs will run for $1.99 each. Alternatively, bundles of three will be sold for $4.99.
A rhythm game is only as good as the songs that make up its soundtrack, and I love almost every track in this game. There are several songs that will dig into your brain and pull you back time and time again, and every time you put up the game you'll end up sticking around to take down a new high score or to play a track you've never heard before. When that happens you'll inevitably find new favorites and start the cycle anew. It's a wonderful addiction, and you need some of this music in your life.
