Sideshow Unveils Rocket Raccoon And Groot Statues

Two of the most out-there members of the Guardians of the Galaxy have been transformed into some seriously impressive statues. Sideshow Collectibles has unveiled its Premium Format pieces for Groot and Rocket Raccoon - and they will definitely break your budget with their unique style.

Groot will run you a cool $600 as the 22.5" figure stands tall with its ornate design. The humanoid tree is covered with tangled limbs and sprouting branch appendages. The figure looks more sinister than the Groot fans met in theaters, but fans will recognize the hero's trunkish thighs and carved eyes.

Honestly, there aren't that many of them floating around the galaxy and, ironically, they're not fans of holding still long enough to capture their likenesses. Styled out of polyresin instead of wood, the larynx of this particular Guardian of the Galaxy is a bit more stiff than normal, so you can expect even less conversation out of him.

Our Groot Premium Format Figure stands at a massive 22.5 inches tall with a width of 20 inches causing this unflappable companion of Rocket Raccoon to leave a staggering impression amongst the rest of your collection.

The Sideshow Exclusive variation features an outstretched and attacking arm with tendrils reaching out to grasp an opponent foolish enough to test his mettle against the massive trunk and intellect of Groot."

Sideshow also debuted their new Rocket Raccoon statue, and its toting plenty of firepower. The collectible will cost $280, but they'll get a rampaging weapons master for the price. The 10" figure features Rocket's iconic jumpsuit ensemble and will fit perfectly with Sideshow's Groot statue to boot.
