Dragon Con Sets New Attendance Record With Over 70,000 Attendees

The Avengers (and apparently everyone else) assembled in Atlanta for Dragon Con 2015 last weekend.

Dragon Con, the annual labor day gathering of the geeks in Atlanta, broke its attendance record this year with 70,000 attendees. The convention, best known for its cosplay gatherings, pulled in 8,000 more guests this year in comparison to 2014's 62,000.

On an even higher note, the convention raised over $100,000 for for the Lymphona Research Foundation during its weekend run.

Dragon Con 2016 is scheduled for September 2 to 5.
