The second Blade Runner film, which will bring Harrison Ford together with Ryan Gosling, has cast Sylvia Hoeks in a leading female role, according to TheWrap.
Robin Wright, Ana de Armas and Dave Bautista will also star in the film, which follows up Ridley Scott's '80s sci-fi classic based on Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
"Sylvia is a radiant talent, a tremendous actress with great appeal in a wide variety of roles. Her addition to this vastly accomplished international cast is a perfect fit," Alcon's Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove said in a joint statement.
Denis Villeneuve is directing the sequel, from a script by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. The film is expected in theaters on October 6, 2017.0comments
