Man Of Steel Deleted Scene

While the first cut of Man Of Steel was over three hours three hours long, producer Deborah Snyder told Collider that they only cut one entire scene from the movie. Deborah Snyder didn't go into details about what the scene was exactly, but she did reveal it was one of the flashback scenes that involved young Clark Kent with Jonathan and Martha Kent, which they felt didn't fit with the rest of what they were doing. There were other scenes that weren't shot at all, and some scenes that were trimmed back such as a fireball scene involving Henry Cavill, but the young Clark Kent scene was apparently the only entire scene deleted. However, Man Of Steel writer David S. Goyer appears to have spilled the beans to Bleeding Cool on exactly what the deleted scene involved. According to Goyer, the deleted scene involved Jonathan and Martha Kent taking baby Clark to see a paediatrician. During the office visit, Clark screams during a hearing test and blows out all the windows. While this scene didn't make it into the movie, it did make it into one of the children's book for Man Of Steel. The Man Of Steel Superman's Superpowers I Can Read book from Harper Collins has a page that shows Martha Kent holding baby Clark, while he lets out a scream that blows the windows out of a doctor's office (and possible ruptures the doctor's eardrums as well).  The Man Of Steel Superman's Superpowers book is currently available at retailers nationwide. The Man Of Steel is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on June 14, 2013.
