See No Evil

The story of a young blind girl who goes home to a nightmare was the foundation of the original See No Evil, a 1971 horror film.

According to Deadline, Screen Gems is looking to remake the film, which at the time starred Mia Farrow in the lead role. The film is currently being written by Mike Scannell and produced by Bryan Bertino and Adrienne Biddle, but no production date or casting has yet been announced.

In the original, Farrow's character comes back home to her uncle's house, where everyone has been ruthlessly murdered. Unbeknownst to her the attacker is still close by, and she is tasked with just trying to stay alive.
