With a very, very impressive 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Paramount Pictures has put out a quartet of Star Trek Beyond television spots filled with overwhelmingly positive pull-quotes from film critics.
Plus, they also put out two new featurettes. One focuses on director Justin Lin (helmed four installments of the Fast & Furious franchise) and features cast members Chris Pine and Karl Urban as well as producer J.J. Abrams discussing what Lin brings to the table. The second featurette focuses on the challenges and obstacles Captain James T. Kirk (Pine) is faced with in the latest film.
Star Trek Beyond, the highly anticipated next installment in the globally popular Star Trek franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009, returns with director Justin Lin ("The Fast and the Furious" franchise) at the helm of this epic voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her intrepid crew.
