X-Men Days Of Future Past Movie

In an interview with SFX Magazine, Mark Millar reveals some interesting things about the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past movie from Twentieth Century Fox. As comic book fans already know, X-Men: Days Of Future Past is based on the popular comic book storyline of the same name by Chris Claremont and John Bryne that ran in X-Men comics in the early eighties. The storyline was set in an apocalyptic future where giants robots named Sentinels hunted down mutants. In the SFX article, Mark Millar describes X-Men: Days Of Future Past as being like "X-Men meets The Terminator." Millar says, "You've got robots, you've got time travel, you've got superheroes – it's got everything in one film." And for those worried that Fox might skimp on budget for the film, Millar seems to indicate that won't be a problem. Millar acknowledges that the nature of the story is very ambitious and says, "Cost-wise it's going to go up, and ambition-wise it's gone up." Millar describes the route that director Matthew Vaughn will be taking as being "a big sci-fi style thing."
