While Batman and Superman headline Dawn of Justice, DC and Warner Bros. want you to know there are two other integral characters in the mix as well.
In a behind the scenes look at the upcoming film by Entertainment Weekly, we have a few other details in regards to Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) part in the film. Lex uses his influence behind the scenes to orchestrate a mass murder that drives the two against each other, though they were already in each others cross-hairs. He also uses Kryptonian artifacts from the wreckage of Man of Steel, as well as Zod's body, to build the Doomsday we see in the trailer.
As for Gadot, she is attempting to uncover Lex's secrets under the guise of Diana Prince, and eventually crosses paths with Bruce Wayne during the process. We've already seen glimpses of their banter in previous trailers, but it is nice to know she has a bigger role than those let on.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice releases on March 25th.
