Eisner-nominated comics news site ComicsAlliance, just a few weeks after having been shut down by their parent company AOL, is now showing signs of life...literally. Taking a page from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, the site posted its first new content since April 29 earlier today, wordlessly suggesting to readers that the popular site wasn't dead yet. Rumors of the shutdown began circulating last month at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, only to be confirmed the following Monday. AOL also closed AOL Music and several music news and video sites that Friday, which is reportedly when staffers at ComicsAlliance got the news. No word yet as to what has caused the about face--whether it's AOL or someone else coming to CA's rescue.
