ComiXology's 12 Days of Free Comics Launches Today

ComiXology launched a holiday special providing readers with a one-day window to download a new free comic each of the next twelve days beginning with Batman #13, the launching point for the acclaimed "Death of the Family" storyline. The popular digital comics retailer also recently launched an e-giftcard program that allows readers to give gift certificates rather than gifting specific issues--something that will be promoted in conjunction with the freebies. "It's been another banner year at comiXology and we want everyone to join us in these 12 Days of Free Comics as we give back to the fans that made this outstanding year possible," said comiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger.
