During the 86th Academy Awards, Google will be running a Google Play commercial to celebrate movies. The TV spot will not just celebrate Oscar nominated movies, but rather it will focus on the magic of movies as a whole. Included in Google Play's celebration are a couple of comic book movies. Google Play's Oscars commercial opens by featuring Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. Other films featured include Kick-Ass, Despicable Me, 42, The Big Wedding, The Great Raid, Spring Breakers, Much Ado About Doing, Warm Bodies, Machete Kills, Elysium, Safe Haven, 50/50, Man Of Steel, Short Term 12, Frances Ha, Hotel Transylvania, and The Hunger Games.
