There have been lots of rumors about cameos in the Man Of Steel. Most of the rumors revolve around other characters from the DC Comics universe appearing, but one past rumor suggested that there would be a cameo from a classic Superman actor. Many have speculated that Warner Bros. might either include a Christopher Reeve look-a-like or CG version of Christopher Reeve in Man Of Steel. In an article about the battle of Smallville, Empire Magazine reveals one cameo in Man Of Steel, even though it's someone that most Superman fans probably won't recognize. According to Empire, the mayor of Plano, Illinois gets a cameo in the Man Of Steel. Empire teases, "Look out for a particularly oh-my-god-I-can't-believe-this-is-happening bank teller." Why the political cameo? Plano is the town that doubled for Smallville in the Man Of Steel. Man Of Steel is scheduled to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 14, 2013.
