Megalyn Echikunwoke Starts Recording Vixen Season 2

Megalyn Echikunwoke already crossed over from the animated world to the live-action one as Vixen on Arrow, but she still has at least one more season of Vixen the animated series of shorts. The actress tweeted out a picture of her back in the recording studio for the show.

The second season, six episodes, are entitled "Trial by Fire" and it appears it will be accompanied by something extra - that will only be seen on DVD in the form of a "bonus episode," according to a revision on the script.

Vixen appeared on The CW Seed in animated shorts that helped introduce her to fans - and to The Flash and Green Arrow. She then reprised the role of Mari McCabe/Vixen, appearing on Arrow in the episode "Taken." Fan support of the character was strong, and fans have continued to support the idea of more live-action appearances.

For now, at the very least, we're getting more Vixen animation.
