It seems like everyone has been talking about the Avengers eventually teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy in an upcoming Marvel Studios film. Well, whoever "everyone" is, they haven't talked to Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt about it.
"That's speculation. I haven't heard that," Pratt says. "No, no one's ever discussed it with me."
If not teaming up with the Avengers to protect Earth, then what would the actor who plays Star-Lord like to see the Guardians doing in future films?
"I think like the universe itself it's best to expand outward," he says. "I don't personally – and it's not up to me, I'll do whatever they want me to do – I don't want to see the Guardians defend Cleveland, Ohio. We're cosmic man. I want to be in space."
The Guardians will next get cosmic in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, scheduled to open in 2017.
