When it comes to superheroes, there are plenty of overpowered characters. You've got Superman, Hulk, and a slew of other characters who are known for their strength. But, recently, there's one guy who has got those older heroes beat - and that would be Saitama. The young man is the protagonist of the wildly popular anime One Punch Man, and he's now being honored with his very own 1/6th scale figure from Threezero.
If you want to check out the product's description, then you can read it below:
"Threezero announces the first 1/6 scale figure based on the hit TV anime series One-Punch Man. The Saitama collectible stands at approximately 12" tall (~30cm), and is a fully-articulated figure with highly-detailed hero suit costume and cape. The figure includes two interchangeable heads; one of which features Saitama's serious expression and a second featuring his usual comical expression. Accessories included with Saitama include a "Munageya" supermarket plastic bag, a snap-lock coin purse, one package of crab claws, and a long leek. Exchangeable gloved hands include one pair of relaxed hands, one pair of fists, and one pair gripped for holding accessories."
If you are interested in buying your own Saitama statue, then you can do so on Tuesday, November 15. The state will retail on Threezero's online store for $160 USD. The official website will also sell a version of Saitama that also comes with an exclusive civilian outfit for the hero to chill out in. The outfit is a standard white-and-red hoodie and jeans, and Threezero will also include a set of interchangeable bare hands with this purchase. The exclusive figure will retail a bit higher at $180 USD.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Saitama, don't worry. You can still catch up with One Punch Man and learn all about the hero at your own pace. The anime follows a man named Saitama who is easily the world's most powerful hero. The hero's world often finds itself challenged by ridiculously overpowered villains who bore Saitama because they never fail to disappoint him. When Saitama realizes he's not getting enough recognition for her heroic deeds, he decides to sign up for the Hero Association and become a public defender against madmen and despots. And, hopefully, find a baddie who can make him break a sweat.
