Phil Hester's The Walking Dead #1 Variant Cover For Wizard World Des Moines Comic Con Revealed

Fans attending Wizard World Des Moines are receiving a special edition variant issue of The Walking Dead #1 by Iowa native comic artist Phil Hester.

The creator of The Wretch and The Coffin drew the cover exclusively for Wizard World attendees. It will be produced in extremely limited quantities so it's first come first serve at registration. Only full-price admission attendees are eligible. Guests attending via Wizard World's VIP admission offering will also receive a B&W sketch cover at registration.

Hester's recent work includes writing The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's Invincible, IDW's THUNDER Agents, Dynamite's The Shadow, as well as drawing DC's Batman Beyond and The Flash TV Comic.
