The Flash Season 2: Barry Will Discover New Aspect Of His Powers In Episode 2

In this latest DC All Access clip, Grant Gustin ('Barry Allen'), the star of The Flash, reveals that he'll be showing off a new superpower in episode 2 ("The Flash of Two Worlds") of the new season. Hey! That's the same episode that Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) drops by S.T.A.R. Labs. Me thinks the two could be related.

"In the second episode, Barry... discovers a new aspect of his powers -- involving lightning," Grant Gustin shared. "And it is very, very cool. I'm excited about it!" So are we, Grant. So are we."

Listen to Gustin's comments in the video below.

Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie's death. Concerned about putting his friends in danger, Barry has pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own. When a meta-human named Atom Smasher (guest star Adam Copeland) attacks the city, Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry that he needs to let his friends help him protect the citizens of Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) helps Joe (Jesse L. Martin) with his Meta Task Force.

An unstoppable force is coming. The Flash season 2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6!
