The 26th season premiere of The Simpsons, titled "Clown in the Dumps," will air tonight on Fox.

In the milestone 26th season opener of The Simpsons, the unthinkable happens: a Springfield resident dies. Also, Krusty retires after he's offended by a comedy cable channel roast of him, and Lisa tries to protect Homer from getting hurt.

The voice casts features Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson; Julie Kavner as Marge Simpson; Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson and Nelson; Yeardley Smith as Lisa Simpson; Hank Azaria as Moe; Harry Shearer as Skinner; Tress MacNeille as Dolph; and Pamela Hayden as Milhouse.

Guest voices include David Hyde Pierce as Felix; Sarah Silverman as Herself; and Jeff Ross as Himself.

The Simpsons season 26 premiere, "Clown in the Dumps," airs Sunday, September 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.a
