The Walking Dead ClaimedSpoiler Warning:

During the "Claimed" episode of The Walking Dead, a group of men broke into the house where Rick Grimes was sleeping. When Rick heard the men, he hid under a bed, and one of the men went to sleep in the same bed he was hiding under. Another man came into the room wanting the bed, and a fight between the two broke out. The fight resulted in one of the men being either strangled to death or rendered unconscious. During Talking Dead, a viewer called in to ask if one of the men actually killed another man over the bed. Michael Cudlitz answered, "He didn't kill him."  Chris Hardwick added, "He looked like he was breathing to me. It looked like the guy just put him in a sleeper hold. That was his buddy." "That would be a really, particularly evil gang if it's like, 'No, I'm going to take that bed…kill," said Hardwick. "I don't think people can just kill each other for fun in this world." "My feeling is, and again I haven't watched ahead so I don't know what happens, but I feel like it would be a good plot point to have that guy still alive, because he did see Rick," continued Hardwick. "The guy who comes out on the porch is an actor whose name is Jeff Kober, and he's been in a million…he always plays a bad guy and stuff usually. He was in China Beach, and he's been in a bunch of stuff. He's a fantastic actor. When I watched the show, I was like, 'Oh, I recognize that guy,' so maybe he's coming back at some point." It's an interesting point that Hardwick raised. If the group of men were intended for just this one episode, then AMC probably wouldn't have brought in a well-known actor to play one of them.
