Tom Brooke Cast In Preacher TV Series

Tom Brooke has been cast as a series regular in AMC's television adaptation of Preacher, the 1990s Vertigo Comic series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Brooke will play Fiore, one of the two Adephi angels sent to earth the retrieve Genesis, the Heavenly entity that possesses Jesse Custer.

Brooke's past credits include playing Lothar Frey on Game of Thrones and Bill Wiggins on Sherlock.

The series sees Custer (Dominic Cooper), now possessed by a being with power to rival God's, searching out the Almighty and intent on making Him answer for everything. He's joined by girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).

Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg are developing the series, with Sony TV and AMC Studios.

Preacher is expected to premiere during AMC's 2015-2016 television season.
