Actors love sharing their work. It's part of what attracted them to the job and what keeps them coming back.

For Jason Sudeikis, he got to share his most recent work with his 2-year-old son, Otis, for the first time recently. Typically, Sudeikis's films are for more mature audiences with efforts in We're The Millers and Horrible Bosses 2 recently earning well-deserved R-ratings from the MPAA. However, on Friday, The Angry Birds Movie hits theaters, and it's the first movie of Sudeikis's he has ever watched with his kid.

"I just watched a screening of it earlier this week," Sudeikis started explaining at a luau in Maui, before adding, "with my little boy."

"For me it's a bizarre experience watching anything for the first time when I'm a part of it," the actor admits, but watching it with his son was something special. "It will always be that," he says. "The fact that he loved it and sat there riveted by it the whole time was pretty remarkable. I was like, 'Wow, okay, this is cool.'"

It only got better when his voice chimed into the movie as his character of Red graced the screen. "The first time my character Red talks he just looked up at me and it's like, 'Mission accomplished!'" Sudeikis exclaims.

Sudeikis's Angry Birds co-star Josh Gad poked a little fun at him, asking why he didn't subject two-year-old Otis to Horrible Bosses 2, and Sudeikis dodged it by saying Charlie Day is the only character Otis would understand.

The Angry Birds Movie hits theaters Friday, May 20.
