The Marvel Cinematic Universe or DC Extended Universe actors all seem to have a good time messing around, joking and teasing one another - but the big stars of Fox's X-Men movie universe have plenty of fun on their own!
Case in point: Wolverine and X-Men movie star Hugh Jackman recently took the recent occassion of Deadpool movie star Ryan Reynolds' 40th birthday to fire the next shot in their ongoing joke war, which has been waged both on and off the screen:
Both actors have been working on the next installments of their respective X-Men movie franchises, making this a well-timed (as in good promotional) piece of humor.
Jackman has made a big splash with the recent debut of the Logan trailer, his third and last Wolverine film; Reynolds has hit a bit of creative turbulence over Deadpool 2, resulting in the director of the first film, Tim Miller, leaving the sequel. Both projects will introduce some new blood to the franchise, including fan-favorite characters like X-23, Domino and Cable.
