In four months, Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters and hopefully set many fans' anxieties at ease, yet not a single image or video has officially shown off the highly-anticipated movie. While Disney may be keeping a tight lid on the upcoming project, the studio debuted some of the film's first official images at a convention in France.

One audience member in attendance shared the above photo from the event, which only displayed the film's logo. Their comment, translated from French, reads, "Disney unveils first images of the next very promising spin-off of #StarWars: #Solo!"

Audiences have eagerly awaited any official glimpse of the film, having to settle for unofficial key art and blurry set photos to get an idea of what the film could look like. Whether Disney is intentionally keeping the film shrouded in mystery to build anticipation or to avoid an assumed backlash is unclear.

On a conceptual level, there's no reason that fans should be anxious about the upcoming spinoff film, but a series of behind-the-scenes details have emerged that have created doubts amongst Star Wars fans.

Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were helming the movie, yet surprisingly parted ways from the project last summer, with neither the duo nor Lucasfilm officially explaining the decision. The shoot reportedly had three weeks left, as Lucasfilm tapped Ron Howard to bring the film to the finish line.

After taking the reins in July, Howard finally wrapped production and re-shoots in November, allowing fans to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Prior to the photos debuting at the French convention, German filmmaker Holger Frick took to social media to reveal his thoughts on EPK footage shown of the film. His thoughts are as follows:

"I just saw a Sneak Peak (EPK reel) of 'SOLO - A Star Wars Story' and I must say I'm really really overwhelmed of how freaggin good it looks! (nothing about the story yet)

"Alden Ehrenreich is amazing as Han Solo, and so is Donald Glover as Lando, Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson look awesome and it definitely had an 'old' Star Wars Feel to it!!

"Looks like this could be the 'fan-service-movie' some of the older Star Wars fans wanted from Episode VIII."

Hopefully all questions about the film's quality will be answered when it hits theaters on May 25.
