Following the events of last week’s episode, Fear The Walking Dead looks to keep the energy up with Pillar Of Salt.

After last week, many of the characters’ story lines are in extremely interesting places. Nick has made some fake drugs to sell to a dangerous gang, Luciana clearly found that attractive, Madison and Alicia have taken control of a hotel, and Travis is starting to realize just how crazy his son has become.
Building off of that momentum, Pillar Of Salt appears to be one of the more dangerous episode of the series. There is conflict at the hotel, turf war at La Colonia, and Ofelia may even decide to return.
Anything could happen this week, there’s just no telling what could go down. With that being said, here’s five ideas to what may happen in Pillar Of Salt.
Gang Related
Nick impressed fans, and apparently Luciana, with his hidden skills as an underground pharmacist. This week, those same skills are going to get someone in trouble.
The gang that runs the grocery store has fallen for Nick’s trick, but they made it very clear early on that they weren’t to be messed with.
When they find out that Nick sold them fake pills, it won’t be pretty.
Look for the gang to start retaliation on La Colonia this week. The place seems pretty fortified, so they might not succeed at first, but they will definitely keep trying.
No matter what happens, the whole situation spells out danger for Alejandro and his people.
Too Soon To Say Goodbye
Break-ups are always hard, that’s a truth we’ve all come to know. The zombie apocalypse, however, probably makes them a bit more difficult.
Nick and Luciana just began their budding love, but don’t get your hopes up thinking it will last forever. If we’re being realistic here, they probably won’t make it past this week.
From the first moment, Luciana made it clear she didn’t want people knowing about their intimacy. That’s not the greatest way to begin a relationship, and the circumstances surrounding La Colonia only add to their issues.
Once the going gets a little tougher than it already is, look for Luciana to back out, or Nick to throw it away.
Guess Who’s Back
If you’ve been missing Ofelia, you’re in luck! This week should see the hotel runaway resurface for the first time this month.
After having an odd conversation about regrets, Ofelia was no where to be found when Alicia got out of the shower. There was no sign of her, no trace, and no idea as to where she would have gone.
Last week, when Strand and Madison rushed outside, their truck was missing. Since no one else had left the hotel, it seems as though Ofelia has pulled a Carol, and gone off on her own.
In this week’s preview, the truck was seen driving back towards the US border. All signs seem to be pointing to the return of Ofelia tonight.
Out of Water Experience
Remember that time Alicia had a plan to put all of the zombies in the ocean? Of course you do, it was one of the most exciting scenes of the entire season.
Well, this week, that plan is going to backfire. The zombies may not be able to swim, but a body can sure float. Since the walkers can’t exactly die, it would make sense that the tide would eventually wash them back on shore.
The hotel may have been clear for a little while, but the high tides of Tiujana are going to have their revenge.
Zombies coming out of the ocean is a terrifying thought.

Victor(ious) Exit
Victor Strand has continued to be one of the most interesting characters in all of The Walking Dead universe. Often times, his mystery and misery have been the glue holding the entire group together.
With the survivors already falling apart, the death of Victor Strand would send their destruction into overdrive.
It may be at the hands of a walker, but there’s a good chance one of the wedding survivors will deliver the final blow. Oscar’s mother-in-law was looking awfully irritated when we last saw her, come to think of it.
What do you think will happen on Fear The Walking Dead this week? Agree with any of our predictions? Let us know!
Pillar Of Salt will air on AMC Sunday September, 18 at 9pm ET.
