The Walking Dead's Glenn Returns In Robot Chicken Clip

Negan's killing of Glenn was one of the most brutal scenes in cable history, but what if Glenn managed to survive?

Yeah, okay, the guy's eye was hanging out and coupled with the vast amounts of blood it is probably unlikely. Still, the scrappy Walking Dead vet managed to walk away from the whole ordeal, at least in the world of Robot Chicken.

The results of that are Happy Glenndings, a new short from the upcoming Walking Dead Robot Chicken Special. If Glenn managed to survive getting slammed over the head by Lucille, you might think he would walk away a bit worse for the wear. You'd be correct, as Glenn's head is still in pretty rough shape, including that low hanging eye of his.

Seriously, Maggie has insurance right? Just go get that checked out man, it's just a co-pay!

Maggie seems to be dealing with it in stride though, and still loves her man despite his unfortunate condition. She has the roughest time with his lack of vocabulary it seems, which since the incident has resulted in Glenn spouting "Maggie, I'll find you" constantly, almost like a mustached Groot.

The whole thing is quite funny, and you can view the whole video above.

Those words aren't as light hearted coming from the Glenn on the show of course, and they somehow made the already brutal moment hit even harder (seriously, no pun intended there, but it really worked out right?). Many assumed those last words were some sort of reference to the afterlife, but Glenn actor Steven Yuen recently revealed that is not the case.

"I think Glenn was fighting to find words and 'Maggie, I'll find you' was a callback to another experience and another time when he really was trying to find her," Yeun said. "Maybe it was a subconscious thought or maybe something he held onto for a while that was his driving force, and when he got smashed in the head, it just brought it to the forefront. There are so many ways to look at it."

It still hurts, even after all this time...(sigh).

For a much more light hearted take on Glenn, you can catch the Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special on Sunday, October 8th at Midnight.
