However, not everyone is set on seeing the play. Just ask Daniel Radcliffe.

Speaking with E! News, Daniel Radcliffe discussed if he’d see the play and said, “It would be a weird one. I could be completely wrong in this, but I feel like if I went to see it that night, there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter fans there in the audience obviously and would that then become a thing? Would it be more about them watching me watch the show, or would it take away from the show. I would never want to do anything that would distract or take away from the show.”

Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter in the films, is currently promoting his latest film Now You See Me 2 and prepping for a new play, Privacy.

Even if Daniel Radcliffe skips the play, the sold-out show is still the hottest ticket at London’s West End. Author JK Rowling has even had to request that fans lucky enough to snag tickets don’t spoil the show’s secrets.

“You’ve been amazing for years at keeping Harry Potter secrets, so you don’t spoil the books for readers who came after you. So, I’m asking you one more time to keep secrets and let audiences enjoy Cursed Child with all the surprises that we’ve built into the story,” Rowling said in a recent Youtube video.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will follow the original book series and explore Harry Potter’s life as an employee at the Ministry of Magic. Harry’s son, Albus Severus, will also appear as he encounters trouble at Hogwarts after he begins attending the famed school of witchcraft and wizardry.

While the play’s previews are running in June, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will officially open at the London Palace Theater on July 7th.
