Jared Leto has gotten a lot of press for staying in-character (The Joker) on-and-off the set of Suicide Squad, but he isn't the only comic book movie actor using the technique. Chadwick Boseman, the 39-year-old actor that portrays the Wakandan superhero Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is also very much into method acting.

"Chadwick is a very method actor," Captain America: Civil War co-director Joe Russo told Collider. "He shows up on set in character, stays in character, stays in accent because he finds its helpful for him to be transformative."

Additionally, he told Empire, "For the entire run of the production, he spoke in that accent, whether he was on camera or not. He's that kind of actor, he has a very specific process. It's very intense performance."

Black Panther will slash into theaters on February 16, 2018, and will start shooting in early 2017. It is being directed and co-written by Creed and Fruitvale Station filmmaker, Ryan Coogler.
