Gwen Stacy Returns In Spider-Man: Dead No More Teaser

Marvel has released another teaser for the upcoming Spider-Man story “Dead No More,” this time teasing the return of one of the most important people in Peter Parker’s life.

The image shows Gwen Stacy, alive and well, clinking glasses with the mysterious character in a red jacket that seems to be pulling the strings behind the “Dead No More” story. The build up has already seen several dead characters, including Peter’s Uncle Ben, return to life.

There’s already one Gwen Stacy running around the Marvel Universe, but Spider-Gwen is the Gwen from another universe. The Gwen in the image, we assume, is the 616 Gwen Stacy, who died at the hands of the Green Goblin decades ago.

Alexander Loranzo’s teasers all connect, but the middle image is still missing. The metallic tentacle arm attacking Spider-Man certainly suggests the return of Doctor Octopus, whose consciousness was last found trapped inside Annamarie’s robot.

“Dead No More” kicks off this fall.
