When it comes to box-office blockbusters, Marvel Studios has got the formula to success down; Just look at the studio’s earnings over the past few years, and you’ll be eyeing lots of zeroes. The superhero behemoth unleashed itself onto the world in 2008 with Iron Man and has since created one of the most interconnected cinematic universes of all-time. With so much down the pipe, some may wonder how Marvel Studios manages to oversees all its projects, but it sounds like the company has it on-lock. According to Michael Keaton, Marvel Studios is as efficient as it is creative.

In a recent interview, the actor spoke to Deadline about his long-running career and talked about Marvel’s efficiency. “I just did Spider-Man, and Marvel? That is one well-oiled machine. It is remarkable how they have got that whole thing covered in a really qualitative way,” he said.

When asked to explain what impressed him the most, Keaton applauded the studio’s practical planning. He said, “Just how efficient it is, in the best sense, and how it operates on a practical level. How organized they are about what they make and how conscientious they are about what they have. They’ve got really wonderful actors for one thing, but I guess that has always been the case.”

Of course, Spider-Man: Homecoming is not the first time Keaton has stepped into the world of superheroes. The actor is best-known for having played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton’s Batman films.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine โ€“ distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man โ€“ but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

The cast features Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, Hannibal Buress, and Jacob Batalon.

The film is being directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), based on a screenplay by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley (Vacation reboot) and Jon Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers.
