Later this year, Marvel Studios will tread where no other company had dared bring its heroes. The company stands as a top-tier power in Hollywood, but Marvel isn’t satisfied with playing it safe. That’s why the studio will be rolling out a hybrid film-tv series come September thanks to Inhumans.

With the help of IMAX, Marvel’s Inhumans will be brought to the big screen where it will premiere its first two episodes. After the run ends, the franchise will continue on cable as the series then goes on a weekly schedule. Currently, the show is in-production down in Hawaii, and fans have gotten to indulge in set photos which show off heroes like Black Bolt.
Now, the project is getting even more real. Over at Cinema Con, some of Hollywood’s biggest studios have gathered to celebrate all things movie. It is there that netizens spotted a logo poster for the Marvel series – and fans are pleased to see it.
Posted by Reel News Hawaii, the account shared a photo of the poster on Twitter. The simple image shows the Inhumans logo pasted against a black backdrop with lettering above and below. The top reads, “A first of its kind Marvel Television series event.” As for the bottom, the poster gives details about the show’s IMAX run which begins on September 1st.
With the poster making its debut at Cinema Con, some fans are curious whether the event will house any footage from the series. The wish seems pretty unlikely since Marvel’s Inhumans only entered production. It seems more probably that Marvel Studios would release an official cast image. The series features a slew of heroes from Black Bolt to Medusa and even Lockjaw. So, as the next few days roll in, fans will want to keep their eyes peeled for any rogue promo images.
The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel’s The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.
The cast features Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, Ellen Woglom as Undisclosed Character, and Lockjaw as himself.
