Wonder Woman has been an exceptional triumph for Warner Bros. and the DCEU in general, but opinions differ on exactly what the best part is.
For Wonder Woman visual effects supervisor Jessica Norman, that part came earlier on in Diana's story (via Heroic Hollywood). In fact, as Norman told THR, it didn't even require leaving Themyscira.
"The beach battle [in which a German army reaches the shore of Diana's home, the island of Themyscira, which was filmed on Italy's Amalfi Coast and augmented in VFX]. I enjoyed working on that; it was a lot of fun. (The studio asked Norman not to describe the details of this VFX work.)"
Norman loves seeing fans react positively to her work on the big screen, and hopes the film has an influence on movies in the future.
"It's very exciting. You work on something and put so much into it, and that makes it more rewarding. I really hope [more films with strong women, led by women] is the future. And why shouldn't it be? It's not something extraordinary, just because it's a female director. It's the right director."
Wonder Woman currently has an 88.14 on ComicBook.com's composite rankings, and make sure to submit your review here.
