‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 114 Recap with Spoilers

The episode begins with a preface of last’s week episode. Caulifla and Kale are seen going up against Goku, and then the opening theme plays.

Kale kicks off the episode by unleashing her full power whilst fighting alongside Caulifla. The heroine explodes in a wave of power as she embraces her Berserker mode. Kale’s energy levels are off-the-charts, and Goku recognizes the transformation as the one Kale brought out earlier. Caulifla praises her disciple, and Goku looks taken aback by the sheer power Kale has. He is forced to punch away debris which her form causes. Jiren is seen twitching at the energy while Vegeta pauses his battle with Toppo. The Pride Trooper remarks that Saiyans are truly unpredictable, but Vegeta takes a moment to stress that he is the best of his race. Toppo calls the praise haughty, but Vegeta shuts him up by using his SSB speed to land a hit on the Universe 11 fighter.

Back with Goku, Kale is seen lumbering towards the Universe 6 hero. She is mindless once more, and Zeno is pleased. Kale turns her focus to Caulifla when the latter does not realize who she is. The girl forces Caulifla into the ground, and she tries to bring Kale back. Kale and Caulifla have a moment, and the latter thanks her disciple for having such power. Caulifla admits she cannot beat Goku alone, but they can if they team up. The fighter says Kale is the only one she was fight alongside, and the Berserker Saiyan begins to cry as she recognizes Caulifla. A pillar of light is seen enveloping Kale, and she manages to concentrate her power into her normal Super Saiyan form. Kirllin and Tienshinhan remark Kale looks normal but carries the massive energy her Berserker state is known for.

Champa starts to cheer. Goku is shaking because his power is reacting to her. The guy says he is fairly impressed, and the girls prepare to rush Goku once more. Caulifla says the two will go together to unite their power instead of going one at a time. They power up as does Goku. The tree standoff before Goku rushes forward. The Universe 6 fighters put their tag-team skills to the test and manage to push Goku into a corner. The Saiyan says he is sorry to Tien about using another one of his moves, and Goku breaks out Taiyo-Ken to blind Caulifla momentarily.

Part 2

Goku gets pinned by Kale as she gets angry about his blinding trick. She then punches him hard before the show switches over to Freeza. 

The villain is sending energy blasts all over the arena, but Freeza stops when he gets confronted by a masked hero. Katopesla from Universe 3 wants to take the fighter down because he is a police officer sworn to protect, but he goes tossed away when Kale and Goku crash into him. The girls regroup when Goku pushes Kale away, but Freeza seems interested in the two. Caulifla recognizes Freeza as the one who outed Cabba, and the villain tells Goku  he will be taking the girls since Saiyans are nice play-things. Freeza laughs when Caulifla gets angry, but Goku stops his teammate. Goku says he gets to fight them because he was there first. The hero then tells the girls to pay no attention to Freeza since he will be backing off. 

Freeza is then intercepted by his previous police man hero, but the villain looks thoroughly unimpressed by the hero’s blabbering. 

Goku tells the girls it is time to go all out. He says he is not confident at all that he can take the two out, but Caulifla and Kale are willing to keep going to eliminate him. The trio clash once more. 

Part 3

Goku throws energy blasts at the girls, but they create a smokescreen to divert his attention. Caulifla comes in to attack when Kale has him trapped, and she keeps him that way as Caulifla berates Goku with punches. Champa cheers the two on, and Beerus gets mad at Goku for fighting alone rather than teaming up with Freeza. He tries to use Instant Transmission, but he fails to escape as Caulifla predicts where he will land. Goku then goes Super Saiyan God to the surprise of everyone after complimenting the girls’ work. 

Caulifla and Kale have a laugh and get ready to take on SSG Goku. They rush forward while Goku sends a flurry of energy blasts, but SSG Goku is much stronger than either girl anticipated. The trio continue to fight, and Kale is caught off-guard when Goku withstands a direct blast from her. Both girls then try to hit him with the same attack, but Goku manages to throw it back. Kale works against it while Goku directs the other to go after a fleeing Caulifla. She cannot escape the blast, and Kale runs to her mentor. Kale asks if Caulifla is okay while Goku stalks over to the pair, complimenting them further. Goku says the two should fight more after the Tournament of Power ends. Caulifla tries to stand, but she cannot. She then calls to Kale and reminds her disciple the pair are the strongest in all the universes when they unite their strength. Kale agrees and Caulifla tells the girl to take that thing out. 

Goku charges a Kamehameha while Champa looks stern from the side. The girls appear to be knocked out of the tournament, but two green lights shine from the fallout. A massive light appears that stuns everyone, and Champa screams in joy. A figure comes shooting out of the debris, and Kale and Caulifla’s fusion arrives. Kafla takes Goku by surprise, and the fusion speaks to the Universe 7 warrior. Champa cheers while the Universe 6 Kai admits they are his earrings. Cabba looks deep in thought as the show goes into a flasback. 

Before the Tournament began, Champa told the girls the earrings are to be used as a last resort. Caulifla isn’t impressed and offers her to Cabba. Champa says holding on to them will be worth it. Vados confirms the pair are now more than ten times stronger than they were since they are now fused. Cabba cheers Kafla on. 

The fusion begins to power up, and Goku looks taken aback. The fusion starts to laugh at her power, and Goku says he cannot sense a limit to it. Vegeta senses the power mid-battle, getting hit by Toppo. When Kafla comes down to challenge Goku, Freeza starts to laugh and says the fight will be a good one. Kafla rushes forward to attack, but she puts too much power in it. She is behind Goku before he can fully get into fighting stance, and the Universe 7 hero looks stunned. He turns to attack, but Kafla is on a whole new level. She manages to punch him before the episode fades into its end narration.
