“Warriors gather atop the fighting arena! A total of 80 warriors from the eight universes participating in the “Tournament of Power” assemble at the fighting arena in the World of Void! With their universes on the line, these warriors await the gong for the match to begin. And so, the Omni-Kings finally announce the beginning of the survival match where losing universes shall be annihilated!!
The fuse is lit for the fierce battle! The Tournament of Power will decide the universes’ fate!! What will Freeza do?! Beerus is on pins and needles?!
Gohan This Week: As the leader, can he put his plan into action?! Finding a means of survival in group tactics, Gohan passes his strategy on to his teammates. However, the outlook is starting to look grim as multiple people (Freeza in particular) act on their own!?”
Judging by the length synopsis, fans can see how chaotic the Tournament of Power will be. 80 fighters will be pitted together for the sake of their universes. Only one universe can win the event, leaving the other teams to accept defeat and their home world’s annihilation. Universe 7 has already had a few team shake-ups to unsteady their workflow, and it looks like Gohan will only struggle further in uniting his comrades. Fans may want to pin the blame on Freeza for that one though; After all, the newly revived villain did kill at least one of the fighters on Universe 7’s team. Sorry about that, Krillin…
The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read below:

But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?”
